As its name implies, the city of Town and Country’s rural charm is evident in the predominance of spacious residential lots and large green tracts of undeveloped open space. The most popular place to go shopping, and to catch a bite to eat is at the Plaza Frontenac. There you’ll find many restaurants and over 40 stores, including Missouri’s only Saks Fifth Avenue.

The Plaza Frontenac Cinema, located in nearby Frontenac, is a six screen fine art movie theater.

The city’s three parks – Drace Park, Longview Farm Park, and Preservation Park – feature paved and unpaved trails, picnic pavilions, playgrounds, a fishing lake, and athletic fields.
