For the area well known as Des Peres long before its official formation in 1934, you might be surprised to know the city with the French name was settled predominantly by German immigrants and southerners from Virginia. Today Des Peres is home to a vibrant business community, and over 8,000 Missourians who live, work, and play within easy commute of St. Louis.
